Taking part involves participating in an interview with myself the PhD researcher, either online via Microsoft Teams or if an online interview is not possible a face-to-face interview that may take place in an agreed private place. During the interview you will be asked to discuss your experiences of being diagnosed and living with the condition POI.
This interview will be arranged at a convenient date and time for you. The interview may last between 45 and 90 minutes depending on how long you wish to talk for. During the interview you will be asked several questions about your thoughts, feelings, and personal experiences of being diagnosed and living with POI. You do not have to answer any questions you are not comfortable with
The interviews will be audio recorded and then transcribed.  Transcribed interviews will then be analysed by me the PhD researcher to learn from your individual experience of POI.  The anonymised findings will be reported in the researcher’s PhD thesis and may be further used at conference presentations or published in articles or other reports/papers.  Your contribution will remain anonymous, and you will not be identified in anyway as an individual.
